Building Resilient Democracy in the 21st Century
Liberal democracy as we have come to understand it over the last hundred years is vulnerable from every angle: outside influence and internal decay threaten democracy at its core. This month’s B|Visual infographic, based on conversations at our inaugural Washington Symposium in April 2019, illustrates six themes — the cement of democracy — that citizens and governments anywhere can work towards in order to build resilient democracy that can overcome the new challenges of the 21st century.
